BioCor® corrosion protection papers work according to the VCI method. VCI stands for volatile corrosion inhibitor. These inhibitors are released in the closed packaging and form a protective coating around the metal, preventing the metal from reacting with air and moisture. After unpacking, the VCI volatilises without leaving any residue. This means that the packaged workpiece can be used directly without additional cleaning.

We have further developed the proven formula of BioCor®. The new BioCor® offers even more comprehensive protection against corrosion. In addition to steel, cast iron, aluminium and aluminium alloys, copper, tin, magnesium, titanium and chrome, the new BioCor® also protects zinc, brass, bronze, silver, lead and nickel.

BioCor® corrosion protection papers are available in various product lines
The papers are developed as ultra-light yet robust smooth papers. These reliably protect metallic goods from corrosion. At the same time, the thinner material and the resulting lower weight actively contribute to environmental protection. You can also obtain paper air cushions with integrated corrosion protection. These are ideal for shipping spare parts and small parts that require short-term transport and corrosion protection.
Loading Classes
In the further development of BioCor® corrosion protection papers, the focus was on the requirements of our customers. Therefore, we have assigned our new papers to load classes to help choose the right packaging solution.

BioCor® corrosion protection papers are still available in a creped version or with a PE coating.
